Got the opportunity to attend World Wide Fund (WWF) for Nature Philippines’ Earth Hour Advocacy last night, March 10 at Alamid, Cafe Express located at ground floor of R.O.X. (Recreational Outdoor eXchange) in B1 Bonifacio High Street Taguig City.

WWF has been helping communities in the Philippines adapt climate change, secure food and water sources, conserve local ecosystems and species, minimize ecological impacts and development and promote renewable sources of clean energy.

The meeting is about the invitation this March 26, 2011 who would like to assist and spread the news for the Earth Hour 2011 – one of WWF’s most successful global campaigns for four years now which becomes a global phenomenon.

Unplug your phone charger when your phone is fully charged.
  • Drive less.
Walk, ride your bike, use public transport or try car pooling
  • Turn off your computer at night.
Both at home and at work.
  • If you really need to travel by plane.
Choose an airline that gives you the option to offset your carbon footprint.

They have far smaller footprints than those that import goods.
