It was a hot summer afternoon and my friend, Mac Vasquez went to the Mind Museum to participate in a science workshop for students on how to make a headphone. Seriously? I drive all the the way to THE FORT just to learn how to make headphones? I could have bought a headphone an spare me from all the headaches of doing such. But hey, there must be something in there that maybe, just maybe, can stir up my interest. So what the heck 🙂
At first, we were warmly greeted by the receptionist of the museum and told us that we were early for the workshop. So we just roam around checking out the Mind Museum (it will be posted separately) until it is time for us to enter the room.
We went inside the room ahead of the students of Signal National High School. There were almost 20 students inside the room. All very eager to start the workshop.
It was a great learning experience for all of us. the students were given all the materials to simulate the headphones from the wires to magnets, all were given to them for better appreciation.
My take out for the day: Learning is FUN 🙂
Thank you Sony and Mind Museum for the workshop, fellowship and best of all, for all the FUN 🙂
